There's not
really too much to say about this part. Except that, yes, I know it's
boring. But in all honesty, I pretty much had no choice but to do this. I
had to somehow tie in all the random references to fit with Romeo & Juliet,
or all would be for naught. So I'm sure you'll understand when I tell you
that if you don't like it, you can just click the damn "Next Page" button
and pretend as though none of this ever happened at all.
Speaking of random references,
I'm sure maybe one or even a full two of you noticed what happened on the
last page. For the rest of you, I'll save you the trouble of trying to
figure it out.
Those subtitles were taken
directly from the Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD. I deemed it fit for
consumption because it just seemed to all go together. I mean, I was using
Monty Python and Shakespeare together. On the DVD, they did the same. It was
like I was meant to use those subtitles. Like they were placed upon
that DVD menu just for my personal benefit.
Because of that, I don't count it
as plagiarism. I count it as a mere reference, like practically every other
joke in this comic. |
